Description
Huadian Power International Corporation Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the generation and sale of electricity, heat, and coal to power grid companies in the People's Republic of China. The company is involved in the construction and operation of power plants, including coal- or gas-fired generating units and various renewable energy projects. It also wholesales coal; sells coal mine machinery equipment and accessories; invests on power resources; and produces electricity and power equipment. In addition, the company engages in the consultancy and management of power project; provision of engineering services; and management of investments and assets. As of December 31, 2023, it had 45 controlled power plants with a total installed capacity of approximately 58,449.78 MW, including a total of approximately 46,890 MW through coal-fired power generating units and 9,094.59 MW through gas-fired generating units; and approximately 2,459 MW through hydropower generating units. The company was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.Huadian Power International Corporation Limited operates as a subsidiary of China Huadian Corporation Ltd.
