China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, together with its subsidiaries, generates and sells wind, coal, and photovoltaic (PV) power in the Chinese Mainland, Canada, South Africa, and Ukraine. It operates through Wind Power, Coal Power, PV Power, and All Others segments. The company designs, develops, constructs, manages, and operates wind, coal, and photovoltaic power plants. It also operates other power projects, such as tidal, biomass, and geothermal. In addition, the company is involved in the coal trading business. Further, it manufactures and sells power equipment; provides consulting, maintenance, and training services to wind and other renewable power generation plants; and generates electric power for external power grid companies. The company was formerly known as China Longyuan Electric Power Group Corporation and changed its name to China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited in July 2009. The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China. China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited is a subsidiary of China Energy Investment Corporation Limited.
