Nexteer Automotive Group Limited, a motion control technology company, develops, manufactures, and supplies advanced steering and driveline systems to original equipment manufacturers worldwide. It offers electric power steering (EPS) products, which include rack-assist, dual pinion-assist, brush motor column assist, single pinion-assist, and column-assist EPS; and steer-by-wire (SbW) products, such as road wheel actuators, handwheel actuators, rear wheel steering, software and vehicle integration, and automated steering actuators, as well as modular power packs and modular electric power steering solutions. The company also provides steering columns and intermediate shafts (CIS) products, including manual and power adjustable steering columns, manual/power rake and telescope columns, non-adjustable steering columns, stowable steering columns, power tilt and telescope columns, transmission control shifters, crashworthiness, integrated electronics and sensors, security and transmission controls, and wide intermediate shaft portfolio, as well as electronics, modules, and sub-assemblies; and electro-mechanical braking solutions. In addition, it offers hydraulic power steering (HPS) products, such as magnetic torque overlay, smart flow pumps, rack and pinion steering, recirculating ball and fuel-efficient power steering gears, and pumps and reservoirs, as well as aftermarket solutions; and driveline systems (DL) products comprising front-wheel and rear-wheel drive halfshafts, and intermediate driveshafts. Further, the company provides software solutions, including software for advanced steering, steer-by-brake (SbB), quiet wheel steering, hands-off detection, road surface detection, and vehicle health management. Additionally, it offers megatrend alignment solutions, such as electrification, software and connectivity, shared mobility, and ADAS and automated driving. Nexteer Automotive Group Limited was founded in 1906 and is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
