It operates through seven segments: Trading of Recycled Metals; Trading of Motor Vehicles and Related Accessories; Property Investment; Provision of Financial Services; Securities Trading and Investment; Sales of Plantation Material and Products; and Provision of Finance Lease Services. The company is also involved in the car parking spaces rental, metal recycling, money lending, and securities trading and investment business; operates green business of research, development, and application of technologies and solutions; and manufactures, sells, and trades products, materials, and systems and services for green market, including the environmental markets, agricultural markets, organic markets, and green technology markets. In addition, it engages in hotel leasing business; trading of computer accessories; property investment; and plantation related businesses. The company was formerly known as Benefun International Holdings Limited and changed its name to China Environmental Resources Group Limited in October 2009. China Environmental Resources Group Limited was founded in 1986 and is based in Tsim Sha Tsui East, Hong Kong.
