It also provides community value added services, such as community asset management, carpark asset operation, smart community, campus value-added, and retail services, as well as elderly care services; home decoration services, including supply chain services of decoration materials, and marketing and promotion services; and sells hardware devices and software products to property owners and developers, technology companies, and other property management companies. In addition, it display units and property sales venue management, preliminary planning and design consultancy and repair and maintenance management services to property developers; sanitation, cleaning, and sewage and waste treatment; software maintenance services to other property management companies, as well as engineering services and carries out construction and engineering jobs, such as electrical and electronic work, interior decoration, landscaping, and other civil work. Further, it is involved in the real estate agency, gardening and greening, wholesale and retail trading, technology, construction decoration, education, business and information technology integration services, engineering construction, environmental sanitation and protection integrated, hotel management, elderly support and consultancy services, house and city infrastructure construction, electricity infrastructure construction and inner renovation, city park management and greening, supply chain and corporate management, and energy saving businesses. The company was founded in 2005 and is based in Shanghai, the People's Republic of China. Shimao Services Holdings Limited is a subsidiary of Best Cosmos Limited.
