Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited, an investment holding company, engages in exploration, development, and production of coalbed methane in Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China. The company also engages in raw coal washing, and sale of raw and cleaned coal; exploitation and sale of crude oil and natural gas; and provision for financial services. It also holds interest in the Sanjiao block CBM field covering an area of 383 square kilometers located in Ordos Basin, China. The company was formerly known as Genesis Energy Holdings Limited and changed its name to Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited in July 2010. Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited was incorporated in 1999 and is based in Central, Hong Kong.
