Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, provides environmental services in the People's Republic of China. It operates through eight segments, Industrial Waste Recycling, Industrial Waste Treatment and Disposal, Rare and Precious Metals Recycling, Municipal Waste Treatment and Disposal, Renewable Energy Utilization, Environmental Engineering and Services, Electronic Waste Dismantling, and Others. The company is engaged in the processing and sale of recycled products; recycling of rare and precious metals; and trading of chemical products. It also provides environmental engineering, remediation, and monitoring service; hazardous waste treatment and disposal service; environmental protection systems and services; waste electronics dismantling services; labor services; and waste identification, and industrial waste utilization. In addition, the company manufactures metal salt products, such as feed grade copper sulfate, basic copper chloride, electroplating grade copper sulfate, copper oxide, copper hydroxide, copper sulfide, tin hydroxide, nickel carbonate, and ammonium chloride; and generates biogas power. The company was formerly known as Shenzhen Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited and changed its name to Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited in December 2010. Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited was founded in 1999 and is based in Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China.
